Homemade Hand Sanitizer

Although I'm not exactly what you can call a neat freak, I am paranoid to bacteria and other germs that can cause sickness. One of my must-haves whether at home or on the go is a hand sanitizer. Before, I would often carry a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol with me but I found out later on that it dries my boy's skin.

Recently, I received a recipe for making homemade hand sanitizer in my e-mail inbox and I'm sharing it with all of you. You will need the following ingredients:
  • 3 oz. filtered water
  • 1 tsp. aloe vera gel
  • 10 drops cinnamon essential oil
  • 10 drops clove essential oil
  • 10 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 20 drops lemon oil
The ingredients are actually available locally especially in bazaars. Luckily, I still have my stock of essential oils so I only missed having the aloe vera gel and clove essential oil in the list. I think that the aloe vera gel is included there to thicken the solution a little.

You will just have to mix all of these in a 4-ounce spray bottle and shake until everything's completely mixed. It smells good, I tell ya!

Of course, homemade hand sanitizers cannot totally keep sickness away so I still make sure that my family gets their daily dose of vitamins to keep the immune system strong. I still don't want any of us to get sick even though we have a medical insurance to support us.

Speaking of insurance, I read about life insurance no physical only at equote.com. Would you know of any similar life insurance company that offers the same package here in the country?
