Sneeze n Sniffles Won't Stop Germs

I received an interesting package in the mail this morning. See what it is below:

Yup, it's a gift pack from Safeguard. But can you see the three tissue boxes I place on top of the bars of soap? These tissue boxes are called Sneeze n Sniffles and they are part of Safeguard's campaign in spreading the importance of preventing disease-causing germs.

Sneeze n Sniffles, a fictitious brand, looks like an ordinary tissue box from the outside. However, each tissue pull reveals different faces of children with the headline: This won't stop germs from reaching him/her.

It is a sad fact that, even with the continuous campaign of both the government's health department and of Safeguard's to inform the public about the importance of preventing the spread of germs through proper hand washing, a lot still believe that just covering their mouths and noses with tissue paper is enough to shield them from diseases. Children are more susceptible to diseases such as colds, cough, and flu because their immune systems are not as strong as adults'. Our bodies may be able to fight these disease-causing germs but our children most probably can't.

So please wash your hands thoroughly as often as you need to and most preferably with a soap that has been proven to fight germs and bacteria. Wash your hands most especially before kissing and hugging your kids when you get home from the office or after you do your daily errands. Avoid spreading the germs with proper handwashing.

The Sneeze n Sniffles tissue boxes are being distributed for free in select places since December and will go on until February this year.
