Kuya na si Bunso, a children's book by Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan

Rap is an only child. If ever I'll be pregnant again, I know he'll be more than happy to be a true blue Kuya. But he also had his bout with jealousy and insecurity when his cousin was born. He's the first apo in my family and was the center of his grandparents' attention for five years before my brother's son was born.

Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan's son, Benjamin, also went through the stage of jealousy when their baby daughter, Solana, was born. Benjamin was the youngest child for 10 years and his spirit was crushed after being teased, "hindi ka na bunso!"  This has inspired her to write Kuya na si Bunso.

Are you also facing the same issues in your family? Read Kuya na si Bunso with your youngest child to help prepare him/her in welcoming the new addition to the family. The book will be launched on May 11, 3-5 PM at the Glorietta 5 Atrium so expect it to be on National Book Store shelves by then.
