So, what just happened to The 24-Hour Mommy?10:03 PM
You might be wondering what has happened to me and my blog these past months that I've been quiet. Honestly, I've been losing my writing mojo when 2014 started. I had a lot of catching up to do with my offline activities that I started to lose time to update my blog. It happens, I guess, to most writers and we'd only need to recharge a bit by not writing at all.
Anyhoo, here's what happened...
In the later part of 2013, I was blessed with the opportunity of doing business in Naga City. I was awarded the distributorship of Sutla and Flawless products in Naga City and I've been travelling back and forth since then. It's fun, really, especially during the summer vacation when the boys would go on my road trips to Camarines Sur and Albay. It's a summer that's definitely for the books! Now, don't be surprised when you read my adventures in Bicolandia in the coming days.
As 2014 started, I found myself stepping up in our church by taking bigger responsibilities. Some of you may know that I am a member of the Light of Jesus Family and, not surprisingly, I now act as the website administrator and social media manager of Feast Rizal. I also assigned myself to be our unofficial weekly photographer.
In May, we lost my dad. It was a sad and tragic time for the family and it especially took a toll on my emotional and financial well-being. I admit, I became angry and depressed because I was caught off-guard. I had to work double time and I seized the demand for the beauty products that we were selling. I neglected my blogs because I had nothing better to share. I was tired most of the time and I couldn't get the energy to write. I'm glad that the sadness WAS just a phase. Yes, it's all in the past for me now. I'm now back and ready to roll.
I promise to write more in the following days as I vow to squeeze in a regular writing sched between my mommy, business woman, and church servant activities. Besides, I have a lot of news to share about this new crafts business I'm starting. I might also add a few accessories in my roster of products. Statement rings are a thing nowadays and I love the designs at Creme de la Craft so much that I'll start making my own for selling!
Thank you for taking time to read this and I hope you'll comment a few lines to this post so I'll be updated on your activities, too!
