Physiogel® Daily Moisture Therapy for my dry, sensitive skin

If there's one thing I hated about our HK vacation last June, it was the intense summer heat that left my skin dry and almost scaly. Until now, most parts that were exposed to the sun are still dry and itchy. That's why I was super thankful when I was sent this Physiogel® Daily Moisture Therapy package.

My skin has suddenly become sensitive and prone to dryness and itchiness. But apparently, it's not only me. In fact, according to a study conducted by Nielsen in Asia-Pacific, 61% of Filipinas experience skin sensitivity on the body - and among their concerns, dryness and dehydration ranked second (Source: NIELSEN Incidence Report, APAC markets, June 2014).

The changing weather, and dust and pollution that we encounter everyday are just a few of what triggers these sensitive skin conditions. Before, I just shrugged it off and just used soap and lotion that's on our vanity table. I learned that dry skin should not be taken for granted. Dryness leads to itchiness. And before I knew it, I wake up to painful scratchmarks on my arms and legs. It's really uncomfortable.

With its unique BioMimic Technology® formula that mimics the skin’s very own lipids, Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy products restore the skin’s natural barrier to lock-in moisture and improve hydration. It also forms a layer of protective barrier on the skin, preventing harmful irritants or allergens from penetrating to make skin less sensitive. I noticed that, even when I sweat, I seldom feel itchy now.

I've been using Physiogel® Daily Moisture Therapy Dermo Cleanser, Body Lotion, and Cream for a week now and I'm happy with the results so far. The dry, scaly skin on my hand has healed significantly, as well as the dry scratch marks on my right and left jaw. The skin on my thighs and arms is on its way to full recovery.

If you're also suffering from dry and sensitive skin, I suggest you try using the Physiogel® Daily Moisture Therapy, too. For more information and updates on Physiogel® Daily Moisture Therapy, you can follow Physiogel Philippines on Facebook (facebook.com/PhysiogelPH).

  1. My dermtologist recommended Physiogel when I was having dry, itchy and scaly skin during cold season. This is my go to brand whenever dry patches start appearing.

  3. I'm curious about this cos it seems to be on a level with Cetaphil when it comes to treating the skin. Will probably try this if I can afford it! XD

  4. I have never tried Physiogel yet and I have to be honest, I don't know if I have a sensitive skin. If I use my naked eye, I can say that my skin looks fine. I'm just not sure what the result will be if it's checked by an expert. lol. I use any kind of lotion and soap, so far I don't have any reaction to the brands I used.

  5. I swear my Physiogel! I always keep a bottle of the dermo cleanser in my bag, because conventional soaps like those in public toilets are so stringent. I also love their AI Cream, which helps to keep red, flaky skin at bay.

  7. Correct me if I am wrong but when you look at the ingredients (labels), does it contain ingredients with the word paraben? If I remember correctly, it comes with three of them? While some people do not mind, there are others who do.

  8. It's my first time hearing about Physiogel what I know is Cetaphil that is good for those who have sensitive skin too. Anyway, this seems interesting as it has a biomimic technology you've discussed. I personally want to retain moisture on my skin. -Me-An Clemente of http://yogoandcream.com

  9. Moisture therapy is great. Because of the changing weather, the skin is prone to drying. Having sensitive skin too adds to the challenge. I haven't tried Physiogel yet!
